TRADITION

TRADITION

The second-oldest Greek-letter fraternal organization in the United States, and the oldest in continuous existence, the Sigma Phi Society has fueled the bonds of friendship among its brothers for nearly 200 years. Our founders established a society based on essential social values that could never be conveyed in a classroom.

BROTHERHOOD

BROTHERHOOD

The Sigma Phi Society is a valued and vital influence on the lives of our alumni and active members. The rich experiences offered through unique leadership opportunities, along with our caring, involved alumni, serve as the underpinnings of the Alpha of Virginia.

LEADERSHIP

LEADERSHIP

At U.Va., Sigma Phi has shaped the collegiate experience for hundreds of members, providing an education far beyond the classroom. Leadership, public involvement, and commitment to scholastic achievement are all tenets advanced in Sigma Phi. Whether in careers, community, or family life, the Sig experience serves to make our members more prepared for life.
